AV Electronics Sendirian Berhad, an Apple Premium Reseller in Brunei Darussalam, has opened their showroom at The Mall Gadong (2nd Floor) since last week (6th October 2008, Monday).
One of the Apple products that is available at the showroom is Apple iPod Touch 2nd Generation. A 8GB model costs BND400. But, if you pay by cash, its costs BND388 only.
I had the opportunity to 'touch' the iPod Touch and took some photos.
An iPod Touch (2nd Gen) with JBL headphoneA closer look at iPod Touch. As the name suggests, Apple iPod 'Touch', it supposes to be touched. And due to that, there are a lot of fingerprint marks on the screen.

p/s: So far, I find iPod Touch has a nice display and can functions as a PDA at BND400 (or less) for 8GB model. If I buy one, I need some time to get use the ‘TOUCH’. This is different from most of Windows Mobile based PDA-phone, in which you can use stylus to write long sentences. In terms of handling, I prefer to handle iPod Touch when silicone casing is installed.
At BND400 for 8GB, iPod Touch is a good value of money when compare to the others in PDA/Phone category of my wishlist i.e the HTC Touch HD and Samsung Omnia i900 (saving me BND600-BN700). You can have music, photos, video, games, contacts, calender, and internet (if free internet service is available) with iPod Touch, but with no phone functions, gps, memory card slot, and Bluetooth connection.
