8th December 2008, Monday -- It is likely that WiMax internet services will be introduced in Brunei Darussalam in 2009. I had the opportunity to join one of the WiMax mobile demonstration held by Brunei’s AITI and POS DATA System Engineering on 5th December 2008, Friday.

p/s: Whatever the the technologies that will be introduced, it must be affordable. I really hope that unlimited usage basic speed rate must be not more than BND30 per month. Around BND20 is better. According to the local press recently, the WiMAX internet services in South Korea costs only BND20 per month. I guess the basic speed is not less than 1MBps (download).
