The ceremony was held on 7 July 2008, Monday, at Sekolah Rendah Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei's hall. The prizes were given to all top 3 pupils of every class from pre-school level to Darjah 6, based on their results in the Mid-Year Examination that was held in June 2008.
