6th February 2009, Friday – More American car brand is available in Brunei Darussalam. This morning, one more American car brand was launched at Daha Auto Sendirian Berhad showroom, Sumbangsih Bahagia Building, Beribi.
The car is the Cadillac CTS, from the maker of USA President’s official car. The car was launched by the USA Ambassador to Brunei, William E.Todd and the Managing Director of GHK Motors, Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin.
Also present at the launching ceremony were Pengiran Dato Shariffudin, the Chairman of GHK Motors and Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Diraja Dato Laila Utama Awang Haji Isa bin Pehin Datu Perdana Menteri Dato Laila Utama Haji Ibrahim, a former minister of Brunei Darussalam.
In addition to Cadillac, Daha Auto (A Member of GHK Group of Companies) also distributes other American car brands: Chevrolet, GM, Hummer, Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep.

GHK Motors's staff is talking about the technology of Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X
Some of the members of Brunei's Lancer EX Club (I guess by looking at their T-shirt) are looking at the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X's engine
SOLD: By the end of the day, all 11 units of Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X are sold. Those who are interested to have one needs to wait for the next shipment to arrive, if any. (Update on 29 August 2008: Yesterday, I went to the BIBD Roadshow @ The Mall Gadong and find out that Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X is still available. According to one of the GHK staffs there, there are 3 more Evo X waiting for their owners).
