30th April 2009, Thursday – Yesterday afternoon, I was attending the Thanksgiving and Appreciation Ceremony for Brunei IIB’s Primary Six Teachers 2008, that was held at Stadium Restaurant, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas. The ceremony was organised by the Academic Section of Brunei IIB’s Primary School Leaders Committee (JASPER) for the teachers who have teached primary six pupils in 2008.
The Guest of Honour was Cikgu Aidin bin Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Assistant Director of the Primary Section, Department of Schools. In his speech, he touched on the roles and responsibility of teachers which are becoming more challenging. Then, he presented the certificates to the teachers and headmasters involved. In addition, the Guest of Honour launched the “Blog JASPER Brunei II(B)”.

21st April 2009, Tuesday – I have not been to Pasar Malam Gadong for a number of months. Luckily, I managed to join Brunei Forever Forum (BFF)’s outing that was held last night there, and this broke my long record for not going there.
I admit there are a number of my favourite foods are available at Pasar Malam Gadong i.e tongkeng salai, tongkeng BBQ, kebab, keropok lekor, kuih malaya a.k.a apam balik, sayap ayam salai, mi tiaw, nasi ayam, and new in my list is pulut panggang.
