30th July 2010, Friday – This morning I went to Bridex Hall, Jerudong to visit the 6th part of Brunei Darussalam’s Consumer Fair. To go there, I have to park my car at the Jerudong Park Playground (JP) food court parking area. I cannot park at the Bridex Hall parking area due to I do not have necessary pass. “No pass, no entry” is strictly enforced here.
The fair was officially open yesterday (29th July 2010, Thursday) and will end on this coming Sunday (1st August 2010).
I have spending my time at Coffee Bean and the Tea Leaf booth for nearly half an hour. Coffee is my favourite drink (though I cannot drink it more than one cup per few days). I have taste (or testing) nearly all the ten type of teas that are on display on their table. And I also taste a variety of coffee. No sugar is added for both tea and coffee. I do not like adding sugar when drinking tea and coffee ( and also Milo..Milo has sugar added earlier in the production process) because it will spoil the taste of the coffee and tea.
After tasting (or testing) the teas, I find out that I like the Moroccan Mint (from Morocco) and Genmaicha Green (from Japan). Both of them are green tea. I prefer green tea because it is the only tea tea that suit me (so far).
Other than tasting the tea and coffee, I get a few tips of how to make iced blended drink, making a coffee and a tea drink. I do not think this is a trade secret because a good coffee and tea drink is also depend on the skill and craftmanship of the barista ( the tea or coffeemaker).
p/s: I hope I can remember what are the tips….and the search for a better coffeee and tea continue.
