Royal Brunei Armed Forces Celebrates 48th Anniversary

6th June 2009, Saturday -- Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) celebrated their 48th Anniversary at Royal Brunei Air Force Air Base in Rimba, Gadong on the 31st May 2009, Sunday. The theme for this year celebration is "Strengthening Defence in Supporting the Mature Nation".

The following photos were processed using Adobe Lightroom 2.3 (Trial). I cropped most of the photos in 16:9 aspect ratio. My reason is that the photos can fill the 16:9 screen of my laptop.

I used the preset setting Colour-Direct Positive and Creative- Black and White High Contrast. However, I still used Picasa 3.0 to put the watermark on the photos as well as resize them.

Tongkeng Ayam

In addition to the arena shows and static display, there were stalls where you can get food, drinks, clothings, and other items. One of my favourite food that was available during the anniversary day was tongkeng ayam or chicken tails....to be precise, BBQ chicken tails.
