1st Term 2009 School Holiday Activities for SRTLDB's Pupils & Teachers and Their Family

23rd March 2009, Monday- Royal Brunei Navy, Muara with the co-operation of Sekolah Rendah Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (SRTLDB) organized 1st Term School Holiday activities for the pupils and teachers of the school, as well as their family. The partipants were divided into a number of groups.

The first activity was visiting Kelab Kuda ABDB at Berakas Garisson. Pupils & teachers as well as their family had the opportunity to ride on the horse free-of-charge. So did my son and my daughter. Both of them ride on the little horse.

Then, we moved to Dewan Gerak Badan ABDB at Bolkiah Garisson. One of the activity there was viewing a rock climbing demonstraion. The army personnel who did the demo offered us to climb the wall. But, none of us (in my group) came forward to have a try.

And, then the participants moved to Pusat Sukan Air ABDB at Serasa for the next activities there. I did not join them due to a certain circumstance.

According to the suggested activities schedule, the activities at Pusat Sukan Air were Zohor prayer and lunch (BBQ). After lunch, they did water sports, such as sailing and kayaking. Then, followed by 'First Aid" demonsration.

Today activities was scheduled to end at 1630 hours.
