20th January 2011, Thursday -- I went to Universal Studio Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa of Singapore on 14th December 2010, Tuesday. I did not stay overnight at Singapore. I stayed at Tune Hotel Danga Bay, Johore Baharu, Malaysia. The hotel (and other hotel in Johore Baharu) is relatively cheaper compare to that in Singapore, especially for a 'lone ranger'.

I departed from Tune Hotel Danga Bay at about 7.30am. I boarded on Odyssey bus (Website: www.odysseynow.com.my OR www.odysseynow.com.sg ). The bus fare is RM25 return. The bus service went through Tuas Checkpoint and arrived at Resorts World Sentosa about 9.30am.

The Universal Studio Singapore is opened from 10am to 7pm on that day. The entry ticket costs SGD66 for adult during weekday. I get 3 redemption voucher that have a combined value of SGD15 (3 X SGD5). One voucher is for food and beverages outlets and one more voucher is used to buy items at retails outlet. I do not remember what is the use of the third one. Actually, I considered myself lucky that I can get the ticket over the counter on that day.

The Universal Studio Singapore was closed at 7pm and my bus to Johore Baharu was only available at 9.30am. So, I went around the other parts of Resorts World Sentosa such as the Forum. Actually, I went out of Universal Studio Singapore after lunch. Of course, it is fun. But it is more fun if I went here with my family. My visit there at this time  is more to sight seeing  and 'jalan-jalan cari makan' rather than experiencing the entertainment there.

I went to Vivo City, where I bought Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit (at Challenger),  using the Monorail service. Then I went down Harbourfront and have my tea there. I eat nasi ayam that cost SGD3.50.

Going back to Tune Hotel, Danga Bay at about 11.30pm.

My Brunch
I drop by at Hollywood Celebrity Cafe and Bakery to have my brunch...
It is certified halal by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura

I order Iced Milo (Regular size) that costs SGD3.20

Sandwich with Omelet, Bacon, and Cabbage plus Mushroom Soup (SGD10.50). Total price is SGD13.70 (Inclusive 7% GST). But I only paid SGD8.70 in cash. I paid SGD5 with the redemption voucher.

My Lunch

Oasis Spice Cafe

I ate my lunch here...

The restaurant is also certified halal by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura.

The menu poster outside the restaurant....

This is my lunch that costs me SGD17.30 including the Evian Sports mineral water. I did not expect that the Evian Sports mineral water costs me SGD5.50.

This set meal costs SGD11.80.... Hmmm 'jalan-jalan cari makan'...

I have my dinner here....
I did not eat much for dinner because I already have my tea with nasi ayam at Harbourfront.  The Universal Studio Singapore was closed at 7pm but my bus is available at 9.30pm. Morever it was raining. So I dropped by at one of my favorite restaurant (which is certified halal by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura) and got a regular cup of Pure Vanilla Iced Blended (which costs me SGD6.60, including 7% GST).
