Half hour before breaking the fast, I do some photographic activity at the dining table, at patio, and at my room. My daughter is also taking photos with me. I am using my Canon EOS 350D DSLR with the kit lens (18-55mm f/3.5-5-6) while my daughter is using her mother camera, the Sony Cybershot w130 compact camera.

My 4 years old daughter is also interested in taking photos

In that day, we eat noodle soup (my mother-in-law recipe) a.k.a soto during the breaking the fast. The following are some of the ingredients that are served:

The bowls to serve the soto The "sambal" which consists of the soya bean sauce, small red chilli, and red onion.
The calamasi a.k.a limau kasturi
The fried red onions
The bean sprout a.k.a tauge
The boiled eggs

After taking some photos at the dining table, I go outside to take photos of the ayer muleh (the famous design among the Brunei's traditional cloth design) decoration of the railing at the patio. The following is what I get:

Then, I go to my room and take the Kurma Kurnia (the Mabroom dates contributed by His Majesty in conjunction with the Ramadan). I put the white A4 paper in front of the built-in flash to soften the light. Then, I get better photos of the dates when compare to the photos that I have taken with no white A4 paper is put in front of the flash:

In addition, I do take photos of my paper punch, but without using the flash. I use the flourescent table lamp and ISo 1600 setting.
